Stamps Bar - Crosby
4 Crown Buildings, Liverpool Road
Liverpool, Merseyside L23 5SR
United Kingdom
Stamps Bar was opened in 1996 and is now firmly established as one of the leading Real Ale pubs in Merseyside having won the CAMRA LocAle award in 2010. Since then we have opened our own micro brewery and continue to support other local breweries such as Melwood, Southport and Liverpool Craft to name just a few, as we continue to try and source beer and food from the local area. As well as supporting local producers and breweries we also try and encourage local bands to play regularly at the bar on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights. (Check out the What's On Guide). Sunday's are often an eclectic mix of Jazz, Original music, Folk and Blues and as a result of our reputation we have attracted a few famous faces along the way such as Mike Badger from The La's, members of The Farm, Ian McNAbb, John Head from Shack, Katrina from Katrina and The Waves and Tom O'Connor. We even had a visit from the Georgian State Orchestra. We also have our famous "Ukelele Night" every Tuesday from 7pm. It's open to everyone, whether you have picked up your ukelele once or you consider yourself a maestro all are welcome to come along. Our Food Our kitchen is franchised out to a fantastic Chef called Dave and his company Mundo Food. All his produce is sourced locally and dishes range from homemade Roast Dinners on a Sunday (with real Roast Spuds!) to foods from around the world including a wide variety of Tapas and his locally renowned homemade burgers.

Newcastle upon Tyne, Tyne-and-Wear NE1 4SG
United Kingdom
With live HD sport on ten giant screens, cask ales, hearty home-cooked food, and the biggest selection of single malt whiskies in the city, Fluid Bar & Kitchen really does stand out from the crowd. It is the perfect place to meet the girls for lunch, watch the match with the boys, enjoy an after work drink, or start that big night out. Fluid Bar & Kitchen is well named, as since we opened in 2003 as Newcastle’s original sports bar, we’ve developed a reputation for our warm welcome and excellent hospitality that flows throughout the day. Fluid Bar may be a modern, friendly, and inviting place to gather, yet our building is steeped in history… Bealim House, which houses Fluid Bar & Kitchen, shares foundations with the medieval city wall and is adjacent to St.Andrews, Newcastle’s oldest church. Gallowgate has infamous historic links to Newcastle City, once being the street leading to the city gallows where prisoners from Newgate prison took their final journey. You’ll also find the remains of a World War 2 bomb shelter in our basement. No wonder we ‘sport’ the best atmosphere in Newcastle! More recently the Gallowgate area of Newcastle has undergone major rejuvenation, with new shops, businesses, hotels and major office developments shaping the city skyline. Set over two floors, Fluid Bar majors on sport, but offers so much more…

Tyne Bar - Newcastle

United Kingdom
Free live music for Newcastle. It’s our Free Live Music that gives The Tyne its heart and soul and we always have a full schedule of bands, singers and DJs with special events organised on Bank Holidays. And, if you’re visiting The Tyne when we don’t have live music on, our Free Jukebox rocks with some of the best alternative music that there is. The Tyne was formerly known as the Ship Tavern; a notorious establishment better known for the horizontal refreshment on offer in the rooms upstairs than for the liquid refreshment at the bar. The Tyne has provided Newcastle with a very civilized blend of wonderful beer, great music and innovative food. Whether you want to sample the very best of locally brewed real ales or simply enjoy a coffee in our unique beer garden the Tyne has something to offer you. We are open Monday to Thursday 12 till 11, Friday and Saturday 12 till 12, and Sunday 12 till 10.30. We are situated at the east end of Newcastle Quayside, under the Glasshouse Road Bridge on Maling Street. Lots of pubs have beer gardens but how many have beer gardens underneath road bridges and how many can you sit out in even when it’s pouring down – a monotonously regular occurrence in Newcastle? And how many have customer-controlled heat lamps, music piped from a free juke box and atmospheric lighting? Well, at The Tyne we have all that in our unique beer garden nestling under Glasshouse Bridge. As unlikely as it may seem, it’s a peaceful haven on a warm summer’s evening, where the music mixes with bright conversation and well chilled drinks. Gigs In The Tyne Bar Beer Garden – a Unique Venue. Outdoor Heating in The Tyne Bar's Legendary Beer Garden Under The Glasshouse Bridge. On most Sundays, and other occasional weekdays, through the summer, the beer garden is the venue for Live Music at The Tyne. Crockerton Lloyds No1 Bar - Cardiff
Greyfriars Road
Cardiff, South-Glamorgan CF10 3AD
United Kingdom
Until the late 19th century, the area around this pub had been known for centuries as Crockerton or Crockherbtown. Crockherbtown Lane, running parallel with Queen Street, is Cardiff's busiest shopping area. Until 1887, Queen Street was called Crockerton Street, after the district here known in the Middle Ages as Crockerton and later as Crockherbtown. It is likely that it got its unusual name from the pot, or crock, herbs cultivated by the monks of Greyfriars. Today, the narrow Crockherbtown Lane is almost the only reminder of this ancient area of Cardiff.
