Worthing's pub of the year 2009 & 2014. In the heart of the town centre just 200 yards north of Marks & Spencer. A traditional Alehouse since 1814, formally two fishermens cottages offering a wide range of beers, fine wines, spirits and 5 Cask Marque approved ales. Homecooked locally sourced food, prepared & served daily.

Our food is freshly prepared daily where lunch is served from noon until 2.30 pm on weekdays & until 3.00pm at weekends. Dinner is served on weekday evenings - Mon-thurs from 6-00 pm until 8-30 pm.

Live bands on Saturday nights!

Jazz has been in operation at the Hare & Hounds for around 16 years. The success & continuation of the jazz is very much reliant on the income that the pub receives from customers. The pub itself pays for the performers & as whilst there is no admission charge, the amount that is generated in bar takings is very much part of the equation. Your support is very appreciated & much needed.
