POYNTON PLAYERS is happy to present the premiere of NOTHING BUT THE ROOF by Adam Colclough. The play is a comedy drama about three friends who find themselves in the same place at the same time, that place being, the rooftop of a block of flats. Although NOTHING BUT THE ROOF deals with the issue's of grief, debt, unemployment and the uncertainties of life. At its core, beats a heart which is in essence, a story about friendship. At the Picture Palace we have a great selection of food and drinks and warm, friendly staff on hand to serve and answer any queries. We host an open mic night once a month and a quiz night. We also have background music playing throughout the day and night and crank it up a bit on the weekends and evenings to suit the amount of customers within.
