The Fox and Hounds is a perfect place to meet with friends and family. In the summer months escape to our picturesque beer garden adjacent to the Basingstoke canal. In the colder winter months, our customers love to sit and relax by the roaring open log fires in our bar area. We pride ourselves on serving the best of local produce where ever possible. There is a separate dining area, outside tables, or if you prefer you can eat in the bar area. There is always a friendly atmosphere and families are always welcome. There is a children’s menu which is ideal for those under 8 years old, if nothing from our main menu whets their appetite. We have a play area in the garden for the children under 11, baby changing facilities are also available. If you’re a fan of live music then please come down every Friday night and enjoy our live music. We choose from an eclectic mix of different bands on the circuit, it’s always very popular, there’s a great atmosphere and it’s a very enjoyable evening out. Each Tuesday and Friday we publish details of the band playing via Facebook, if you Like us on Facebook you too will be sent the details, and also other pub events, promotions and updates as they happen. Fortnightly on Tuesdays is our popular Pub Quiz.
