We are an historic public house dating back to the Edwardian era, where you will find a traditional Cornish welcome in a traditional Cornish pub.

We serve a varied homemade menu all day using locally sourced Cornish produce wherever possible. We also have a good selection of specials, including crab, locally caught fish, cream teas and vegetarian, we try and reflect the season’s on our specials menu.

On Sunday we also do a traditional Sunday Roast with homemade Yorkshire puddings and gravy and a choice of meats. We always serve homemade chips. The majority of our meals can be adapted for children.

All of our ales are Cask Marque accredited and we have three local ales to choose from alongside Bass (straight from the cask).

Monday nights we have a jam night, anyone is welcome to play, we supply the kit, you supply the talent.

Friday and Saturday’s are live band nights. Enjoy a great selection of music from a variety of local and visiting bands.

Sunday is Karaoke

Ensuite Bed and Breakfast is available in our newly refurbished rooms at reasonable rates. Our rooms are light and airy with a good outlook onto the Prince of Wales Pier and can accommodate three/four people.

The Prince of Wales is situated in a favoured position opposite the Prince of Wales Pier in the centre of town. From where you can enjoy many boat cruises around the local area or explore Falmouth on foot.
