The bars are now light and airy and the restaurants are spacious and comfortable. Many of the original features of the pub have been retained. John and Ali bring with them 25 years of experience in the ‘pub trade’. During that time they have won many awards for food and cellar management. Our Chefs Paul Walker ably assisted by Chris and Ali, are producing some very tasty dishes. We try, wherever possible, to use local produce. Please take a look at our Menu pages. We have a lovely large Beer Garden with a working well. The pub is both child and dog friendly. We can cater for any social event in either our restaurant, our snug or our skittle alley. Macclesfield Bikers MCC - Meetings at the Nags Head Macclesfield Bikers is a motorcycle club affiliated to The NABD (www.nabd.org.uk). Meetings are held on the first Sunday of every month at approximately 7.30pm at the Nags Head to discuss Club business. Macc Bikers MCC are a friendly, well established and socially orientated motorcycle club with a wide range of interests and ages, including Japanese, British and custom bikes. Their aim is to promote a common interest in motor cycles by organised runs, rallies and social events. Friday nights are a social evening where they meet to have a drink and a chat. Some excellent bands play at the Nags Head and the landlord and landlady extend a warm welcome to motor cyclists. There is usually someone from the Club at the pub from 7.30pm onward.
