The Railway is a many faceted pub which has many reasons for a visit, with regular live music, dj nights, poker nights, quiz nights, and all live sports shown on our lcd and large screens, as well as offering traditional freshly prepared pub food at reasonable prices.

The Railway serves a wide selection of quality lagers, beers, wines and spirits. We are cask marque accredited and have been in the good beer guide for the last 3 years, and always have a choice of 4 cask ales on sale.

We are unrivalled for our sports presentation having recently been awarded north west sports pub of the year in the great british pub awards.The Railway was voted north west sports pub of the year in the Great British Pub Awards 2013 due to our outstanding sports offer and atmosphere.

We show all Sky and BT Sports on our 5 plasma screens and large drop down screen as well as selected 3pm saturday games. Leyland United fc, Leyland Orient fc, Leyland Albion u18’s,

Leyland Foxes Hockey Club all make use of our facilities. We have 2 pool teams in the Leyland and district pool league and we have a dart board for the customers use.
