Off the beaten track on Old Ford Road, close to Victoria Park & the canal, we are also the nearest CAMRA Good Beer Guide listed pub to the London Stadium. Worth seeking out for the quality of our beer. Up to four handpumps serving Shepherd Neame ales and regular guest beers. There is a single bar at the front which continues on the right to the rear bar with a pool table and large screen for major (free to air) sporting events, outside is a sun trapped beer garden. There is a themed quiz night on the first Thursday of the month. We have won a bunch of awards in the past from various societies but its no good resting on your laurels. ?

We were handed the keys on the 22nd December 2011… We gave it a good scrub, lit some candles and opened the doors that very same night. There was no brand spanking new make-over, just some small changes here and there. The Three Compasses is hundreds of years old, and we’ve strived to stick to its roots as a proper East End boozer. No pretension, just the best local craft beer, delicious burger pop-ups, friendly staff, major sports fixtures on projectors, a lovely beer garden and the best pub quiz in Hackney. We bloody well love our music here at the Compasses, and our playlists feature everything from old school hip hop, electro, indie, indie-electro, Motown, rock n roll, 80s hits, 90s dance classics, new wave, reggae, soul, alt-folk, the lot.
