Chesham Musical Theatre Company is proud to present Fiddler on the Roof, the gem from Broadway's Golden Age of musicals Tevye the dairyman must find suitable husbands for his daughters and has ongoing respectful debates with the God. Fiddler appeals to our core values and reflects the frustrations between parents and children and the reaction to change and persecution of the times. Dramatic and emotive, but also very funny, the show is a wonderful portrayal of Jewish life and love in the early 1900s. “Fiddler on the Roof” is presented by arrangement with Music Theatre International (Europe). Tickets via elgiva.com, the show runs nightly at 7.30pm from Wednesday April 10th to Saturday 14th April, with matinees 2.30pm Sat and Sun 14th April

Back by popular demand, we are thrilled to be holding our 5th annual Charity Quiz Night! Simon Jay will be returning as the Quiz Master, in addition to fantastic prizes, raffle and auction. The Ipswich Quiz will be taking place on 7th November, 7pm. We will be raising money in aid of Suffolk Mind and Autism Anglia. The Lowestoft Quiz will be taking place on 21st November, 7pm. We will be raising on in aid of Break and RNLI. Teams are between 4 - 6 and tickets are £7.50 per person. Tickets include a free drink on arrival and a light buffet for the table. Join Cinderella in this favourite magical tale. Cinderella's life with her cruel Stepmother and Stepsisters is filled with hardship, but the Fairy Godmother transforms Cinderella’s rags into a shimmering dress with sparkling shoes and she is able to go to the Ball at the Palace. Cinderella and the Prince dance and fall in love, but as midnight strikes Cinderella rushes away, losing a shoe, and the Prince is left to search for the girl he wishes to marry. The Titfield Thunderbolt: can the villagers of Titfield save their steam train? The latest production is based on the classic Ealing comedy, “The Titfield Thunderbolt”, which starred the great Stanley Holloway and harkens back to the simpler days of steam trains and the closure of small branch lines by Dr Beeching. Set in the fifties, it tells the tale of the villagers of Titfield and their plans to buy and run the line themselves or risk losing their commute to work and market, vying for business against Harry Crump, the owner of the local bus service.
