The Anchor is a popular local which is situated in the bustling shopping area of Hazel Grove on the main A6, and is an ideal venue for a pleasant pint during a visit to 'The Grove'. Monday night is quiz night at the Anchor, where the brainboxes can win prizes of up to £300. We show all the big games on Sky Sports TV too. Bar Snacks are available during most lunchtimes and these are freshly prepared and very reasonably priced. A hidden gem is the smoking shelter which is tucked away at the side of the building but is furnished and planted for maximum effect. Road-side parking is available for those who wish to drive to the Anchor, but local busses are often and plentiful. A pleasant beer garden is open during the better weather.
