Westcoast bar, grill and music rooms Margate, established in 2002, is a unique venue. It boasts a 50 seater eaterie, an independently run 60 seater cabaret and comedy show bar and a 380 standing music room. The rooms, spread over ground floor and basement, are able to operate individually or as one. Year on year we have reinvested into the venue, making improvements in its facilities and our services.

In 2011 Westcoast officially became Thanet’s premier music venue and bar and was awarded the first ever parliamentary sponsored title of Runner up Countrywide and Best Small Venue In Kent in the “Rock the House” competition, for its contribution to live music in the community, beating over 200 other venues nationally. Throughout its duration Westcoast has assisted in the development of young local promoters, contemporary musicians, performers, technicians, bar and catering staff.

At Westcoast we understand the importance of the integral role we play in our community, by being a platform and conduit for potential young entrepreneurs and employees. We ensure they have sufficient real life hands-on experience, thus providing the industry with fully trained, qualified young individuals with all round experience. Our guidance along with their own personal commitment will help them thrive in this fast-paced and ever evolving industry.
