The Vortex is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to providing a stage for musical performances that exist outside the mainstream. We host over 350 concerts a year and all of our gigs are managed by a dedicated community of music-mad volunteers.
We have been running for nearly 30 years and have established a reputation as one of the leading venues in the world for jazz and experimental music.
Vortex is at the heart of the Gillett Squared partnership; a hub for creativity and cultural activity in Dalston.
