The Stag's Head is a warm and friendly independently run pub and restaurant, situated in the heart of Great Doddington near Wellingborough, Northants. The pub itself was built in 1693 and has two restaurants, a large bar area and beautiful beer garden.

The Stags Head has a 50 seater Traditional Beamed open Restaurant, a 26 seater Cosy Cellar Restaurant, a large friendly Lounge Bar, a separate Bar area with a Big Screen TV (handy for meetings or presentations) and a very pretty heated and covered Smoking area, which leads out to the large enclosed flowered Garden, great for BBQ's. Our Bar area & garden Is also dog friendly, so please feel free to bring your four legged friends.

We hold a Red Tooth Poker evening every Tuesday all welcome, come and learn with us we don’t mind. It is a run of 13 weeks and you can join at any time. We play for points to go forward to a quarter final play off where our top 3 players go through to Sol Central Casino Northampton where there are cash prizes and Trophies.

Here at the Stag’s Head, we hold a monthly Quiz night, with ALL Proceeds going to Macmillan Charity. To date we have raised £65,000 with Quizzes, coffee mornings and Auctions. The Quiz is normally held on the first Monday in the month excluding Bank Holidays and a good time and fun is had by all. We start around 8.30pm. please come early for a table and help us raise even more.

At The Stag's Head we can cater for any Occasion or Celebration, from a candle lit dinner for two, a large family gathering or Business meeting to Wedding Breakfasts & Wakes.
