We were handed the keys on the 22nd December 2011… We gave it a good scrub, lit some candles and opened the doors that very same night. There was no brand spanking new make-over, just some small changes here and there. The Three Compasses is hundreds of years old, and we’ve strived to stick to its roots as a proper East End boozer. No pretension, just the best local craft beer, delicious burger pop-ups, friendly staff, major sports fixtures on projectors, a lovely beer garden and the best pub quiz in Hackney. We bloody well love our music here at the Compasses, and our playlists feature everything from old school hip hop, electro, indie, indie-electro, Motown, rock n roll, 80s hits, 90s dance classics, new wave, reggae, soul, alt-folk, the lot. On a weekend we host some sweet DJ nights
