The Music Box is a purpose built music venue.

The team behind The Music Box are among the most experienced promoters in the South-West. The staff are all musicians or fanatical music fans.

Situated over 3 levels with a capacity of 200, the venue comprises of the main bar area, dance floor & stage area & the top lounge bar with the option to have the same (or different) music on each level. A camera on the stage shows customers what’s happening on screens which are situated in each area. When there’s a band or live electronic p.a on stage, it’s an audio visual experience on all levels.

As well as promoting local, national & international bands & solo artists over the whole weekend (which, for us, begins on Thursdays), we also host specialist club nights, our Fridays are dedicated to the finest underground music of all genres and Saturdays are geared towards the more discerning, out-on-the-town clubbers.

The venue can be hired for private parties, club nights or as rehearsal rooms & video location for bands (please contact us for a quote).

Anyone who appears to be under the age of 25 will be asked for I.D.
