Welcome to Blakey's Cafe Bar and Live Music venue. Located in the popular market town centre of Newcastle-under-Lyme, we were the first wine bar to open in Staffordshire over 30 years ago! Relax in a warm, friendly atmosphere with a cup of coffee or enjoy a meal from one of our menus. During the day, we are open from 10.00am until 3.00pm serving a selection of coffees, breakfast and lunches. We open again in the evenings from 7.00pm (6.00pm Wednesdays) serving food and drinks. Blakey's remains a family business, first established in 1977 with the opening of Candles - the first wine bar in Staffordshire. Now, after extensive refurbishment, Blakey's continues to offer a warm and friendly service with a bigger choice of wines, beer and soft drinks. Since first opening as a wine bar, good quality wines from around the world have always featured greatly. A selection of over thirty red, white and rose wines are always available including spakling wines and Champagne. In recent years, Blakey's has introduced a varied selection of draught and bottled continental beers. We have three specialist Belgian beers on draught, Stella Artois, Hoegaarden "White Beer" and Leffe Blonde as well as a wide range of continental bottled beers including Erdinger Weissbier, Chimay, Duval and Budvar An excellent choice of food is always been served throughout the day and evening, prepared to order using some of the finest ingredients.
