King and Queen - Brighton

King and Queen - Brighton
Built in 1779 as a Farmhouse and named in honour of George III and Charlote whose 60 year reign ended in 1820. The principal bar, built in the style of a noblemans hall is flanked by a paved courtyard. The building also incorporates Prinny's bar on the Minstrels Gallery. The Tudor room is the main banqueting hall and was formerly the head quarters of the Brighton Corn Exchangeuntil the market moved to its present building which was once a Royal Riding Stable. Now in the new millennium The King and Queen is one of the most unique and popular venues in not only Brighton but the whole of Sussex catering for a wide range of occasions.

At the King and Queen we cover all major sports events on our 2 LARGE screens and surround televisions.

King and Queen is Brightons busiest sports bar that has never been bettered.

The King and Queen is famous in brighton not only for the best sports venue but also for events throughout the year. King and Queen has hosted many events with many DJ's including Norman Cook AKA fatboy Slim who has played here. Bank Holidays are well known in the King and Queen where we are a host to numerous acts, dj's and compilations that go through to the early hours.

For these special events you can hire our VIP box above the bar to watch the match and even have your own waiter/waitress for the occasion (advance booking only).

For those pool lovers we have 3 pool tables and even a pool league for the competitive side of you.

We also have a Football table for all you budding table footballers.
