If you're looking for a place for a pint with friends, or a meal with family, then look no further than the Boat & Horses!

We serve food all day, and have regular specials - and if that's not enough, there's also a daily carvery. Our open plan restaurant is very popular so it's best to book at table on evenings and weekends.

When the sun's out, you can enjoy a drink or meal in our extensive outdoor area, or if the weather's not so good, keep the kids entertained in our indoor play area.

The Boat & Horses was originally built in 1804, and was known as the Pleasure Boat Inn before receiving its present name in 1826. The construction of the M60 caused substantial damage to the foundations of the Boat & Horses and the pub was completely rebuilt in 1999.

Having had a full refurb in 2011, the Boat & Horses now has something for everyone, from our restaurant and carvery with family section and children’s activity corner to the screening of football and sports in the ‘vault’ and adult-only bar area.

The team work very hard to ensure that the Boat & Horses is a warm and friendly pub that offers great food and drink served with a smile. We all look forward to seeing you soon.
