Welcome to the Blue Cat - a live music venue and bar, based in Heaton Moor in Manchester and steeped in musical history.

It's a fantastic place to see high-quality new acts, touring bands and exciting soloists, so come down and enjoy our friendly atmosphere, great drinks and live music.

About the Blue Cat
Danny bought what was the old TSB bank in Heaton Moor, Manchester in early 1996 and opened The Blue Cat in June later that year. His mission was to have a live original music and performance venue selling good quality Continental beers. The bar has had many successful performers including Johnny Marr, Nell Bryden, Riding the low, Terry Reid, Nick Harper and Kiki Dee.

The Blue Monday open mic night was established in 1998 and has become a popular night for local and travelling artists to showcase their talents.

The Blue Cat prides itself on bringing original music to Stockport and helping support performers.
